Our High Yield Money Market Account is perfect for members who want a safe investment with higher earnings than our Regular Share Account and greater liquidity than a Certificate of Deposit. The minimum balance for Tier 1 of the HY MMA is $2,500. If the balance falls below this at anytime, no dividend will be earned until the minimum balance is once again attained. The minimum balance for Tier 2 is $25,000. If the balance falls below $25,000 , but greater than $2,500, the dividend earned will be based on the Tier 1 rate. The minimum balance for Tier 3 is $75,000. If the balance falls below $75,000 , but greater than $25,000, the dividend earned will be based on the Tier 2 rate. All withdrawals and deposits must be made in amounts of at least $100. HY MMAs pay dividends to our members based on the earnings of the Credit Union. These dividends are calculated based on the average daily balance and compounded and paid monthly. |
