That's why we offer you several options for investing your money in an Individual Retirement Account (IRA). We offer both Traditional and Roth IRAs, and Education Savings Accounts (ESAs).
Our IRA Share Account pays a competitive, fixed interest rate. There is no minimum opening deposit or minimum balance requirement to earn interest. IRA Share Accounts pay monthly interest to our members based on the earnings of the Credit Union. HarborLight CU's Board of Directors determines the interest rate paid on IRA Share Accounts each calendar month. The interest is calculated based on the average daily balance and compounded and paid monthly. There are no service fees on any of our IRAs.
We also offer IRA Certificates of Deposit with varying rates and terms.
